Grass Guide 2015
The "Grass Guide 2015" presents research experiences of amenity turf for the Nordic countries made over the past 30 years. It focuses on recommended species for grass-covered slopes, lawns, football pitches and golf courses. Researchers from US, UK, Norway and Denmark presented the latest from fine fescue research, and experienced greenkeepers from Ireland, France, Sweden, Scotland and Denmark revealed their thoughts and experiences with fescue in Copenhagen, 5-6 October. Dollar spot - a new disease in Scandinavia
Dollar spot is expected to become a serious problem. Two variants of the fungus (Sclerotinia homoeocarpa) have been identified in Scandinavia, but it is uncertain how widespread they are and how severe damage they may cause. A practical guide for assessing your golf course’s multifunctional potential has been produced. It is intended as a tool for a multifunctional process and can be used to visualize the multifunctional potential of your golf course. The handbook is available in English and Swedish.

Ongoing project - Induced resistance to M.Nivale
The objective of the STERF project ‘Induced resistance to Microdochium nivale’ is to study a type of resistance than can be ‘turned on’ by the application of a so-called ‘resistance elicitor’. Read more about the project in a short article in Engelish or Norwegian.
