Article - ITRC2022 attracts 300 attendees from 28 countries
The 14th International Turfgrass Research Conference (ITRC2022) was arranged on 10-15 July by STERF in association with the International Turfgrass Society (ITS) and held at Copenhagen University, Denmark; the first time ever the conference had been held in a Nordic country. The ITRC are among the largest and most comprehensive gatherings of turfgrass professionals anywhere in the world; and, this year’s conference was no exception, with over 300 registrants from 28 countries in attendance. Report - Chafer grubs and leatherjackets on golf courses
Read this fresh report about how insects can cause severe damages to Scandinavian golf courses – mainly in the southern areas. Damages from chafer grubs are occasional, damages from leatherjackets tend to be increasing. Restrictions on insecticides have necessitated the use of alternative control methods.
