STERF’s updated handbook from 2021 on Precision fertilisation is now available in Icelandic. The translation was a collaborative effort between the Golf Union of Iceland and SÍGÍ, the Icelandic Groundsmen and Greenkeepers’ Association, and also includes a short online, narrated slide video adapted to the needs of many of Iceland’s smaller, rural nine-hole courses and clubs that are primarily run by volunteers.
Links, both in Icelandic:
STERF is a research foundation that supports existing and future R&D efforts and delivers ‘ready-to-use research results’ that benefit the Nordic golf sector. STERF was set up in 2006 by the golf federations in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland and the Nordic Greenkeepers’ Associations.
