It is to be documented that the principles of IPM (Integrated Pest Management) are followed regarding the management of the golf course. The supervisory authorities in the Nordic region have a slightly different focus on how this should be done on the basis of national priorities.
The three diagrams that are attached are intended as examples and can be adapted to local variations, if necessary. The authorities may come with more specific national guidelines and then of course it is the ones that apply to documentation of IPM. It is therefore important to find out what regulations apply to the particular country and municipality in which the facility is located.
STERF is a research foundation that supports existing and future R&D efforts and delivers ‘ready-to-use research results’ that benefit the Nordic golf sector. STERF was set up in 2006 by the golf federations in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland and the Nordic Greenkeepers’ Associations.
